War-Torn Sudan: 128 Nigerians Evacuated, Bringing Total to 1,984

One hundred and twenty-eight Nigerians who were evacuated from the war-torn region of Sudan have arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Wednesday.
This marks the eleventh batch of evacuees to arrive in Nigeria, bringing the total number of evacuees to 1,984.
The Nigerian Diaspora Commission announced the arrival of the evacuees through its Twitter handle, revealing that the group consisted of 117 adults and 11 minors who departed from Port Sudan International Airport via Tarco Air.
The commission further reported that no Nigerian lives were lost during the evacuation process.
In a statement, it said, “Again, no Nigerian life has been lost so far. #StaySafe.”
