Wide search has began in the Austrian Capital, Vienna, for suspects after recent attacks in the city.
The manhunt, spearheaded by the police and other security officials, is targeted at getting at least one suspect. This comes after recent attacks in the city, which killed at least four people.
Seventeen other people were also injured during the gun attacks. These attacks occurred on Monday evening, as various gunmen opened fire at six different locations in the city. According to reports, one of the attackers was shot by the police.
The Austrian Interior Minister, Karl Nehammer, described the assailant killed by the police as an ‘Islamist terrorist’.
