Ugandan DJ Lito Emerges Best African DJ at AFRIMA

“DJ Lito” has shocked the music world, emerging the Best African DJ at the just concluded All-Africa Music Awards, AFRIMA.
The All-Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) were held in Dakar, Senegal and the entertainment industry was in for a treat as Ugandan Disc Jockey, Ssekitooleko Ronald, known to his fans as “DJ Lito” took home the coveted title of Best African DJ.
DJ Lito expressed his excitement and gratitude upon receiving the award, dedicating it to all of his fans around the world. He also thanked the Ugandan media for their support.
The rising DJ had a breakout year in 2020, defying COVID-19 lockdown protocols to perform at night clubs across his home country and gaining recognition and fans along the way. He had some words of wisdom for aspiring DJs, saying “remain hardworking, focused and dedicated as you pursue your choice of profession.”
