Trump Takes Labor Day Respite Amidst Legal Challenges and Election Controversy
Despite the ongoing developments related to the 2024 election and multiple pending trials, former President Donald Trump spent his Labor Day weekend in a leisurely manner in the Northeast, Excel Magazine International reports.
Photographs captured the ex-POTUS enjoying a round of golf at his club in Bedminster, New Jersey, where he also warmly welcomed a gathering of supporters on Monday, September 4.
On Truth Social, he shared his experience, saying, “A very large group of ‘Bikers for Trump’ just left Bedminster. What a great time we all had,” he wrote on Truth Social. “The motorcycles were AMAZING, the love and enthusiasm absolutely ‘beyond.’ Thank you all. We must WIN in 2024. MAGA!”
Later that day, he was spotted returning to his Manhattan residence, prompting amusement and some light-hearted ribbing on social media about the 77-year-old businessman’s carefree attitude.
Notably, Donald Trump has faced indictment four times this year, further adding to his already busy schedule.
Attorney Ron Filipkowski tweeted a photo of the ex-POTUS on the golf course, commenting, “It was another day of Trump being so bogged down with a hectic work and campaign schedule to be ready for trial in March,” attorney Ron Filipkowski tweeted alongside a photo of the ex-POTUS on his golf course.
Amidst the banter, some couldn’t help but remark on Trump’s actions, given his prior complaints about a lack of preparation time for his court dates, which he had been attempting to delay.
As previously reported, Trump’s most recent arrest occurred last month due to his efforts to contest the election results in Fulton County, Georgia. Following the viral spread of his mugshot, he took to Truth Social to assert his innocence and claim electoral fraud.
In his own words, “So, with the revelation of MASSIVE & WIDESPREAD FRAUD & DECEPTION in working closely with Big Tech Companies, the DNC, & the Democrat Party, do you throw the Presidential Election Results of 2020 OUT and declare the RIGHTFUL WINNER, or do you have a NEW ELECTION?” he wrote.
He continued, “A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution,” Trump continued. “Our great ‘Founders’ did not want, and would not condone, False & Fraudulent Election!”
