During his time as US president, Donald Trump allegedly concealed a $19.8 million loan from a business with ties to North Korea, Excel Magazine International has gathered.

According to documents obtained by the New York Attorney General and reported by Forbes, said a previously unreported loan owed by Trump to Daewoo, a South Korean conglomerate, a firm that was the only one permitted to conduct business in North Korea in the middle of the 1990s.

Forbes indicated Trump and Daewoo have been friends for at least 25 years, adding that at one point, Daewoo and Trump collaborated on the Trump World Tower construction project in New York City, which is close to the UN building.

Trump and Daewoo continued to do business together, including using Trump’s name on six South Korea-based properties from 1999 to 2007, according to the magazine.
