Tinubu Appoints Executive Directors for NPA and NIMASA
President Bola Tinubu has announced key appointments for executive directors within the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) and the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), both falling under the Federal Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy.
In the Nigerian Ports Authority, Ms. Vivian C. Richard Edet assumes the role of Executive Director, Finance and Administration. Engr. Olalekan Badmus has been appointed as the Executive Director of Marine and Operations, and Engr. Ibrahim Abba Umar will serve as Executive Director of Engineering and Technical Services.
For the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, Mr. Jibril Abba has been appointed Executive Director of Maritime Labour and Cabotage Services, Mr. Chudi Offodile as Executive Director of Finance and Administration, and Engr. Fatai Taye Adeyemi as the Executive Director of Operations.
A statement released by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, on Thursday, highlighted President Tinubu’s approval of these appointments.
The President, after scrutinizing their impressive profiles, expressed confidence that the newly appointed executives will efficiently execute their collective mandate, contributing significantly to the growth of the Marine and Blue Economy Sector in the nation’s GDP.
