Thugs Attacked Funke Akindele At Lagos Market

On Wednesday, January 25, Lagos State PDP governorship candidate, Abdul-Azeez Adediran, disclosed that Funke Akindele was attacked by thugs alongside with entourages at one of Lagos markets.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Adediran revealed the attack while having a speech with Muslim leaders in Ketu Central Mosque in Kosofe Local Government area of Lagos.

He also stated that one of his supporters got stabbed during the hit.

The PDP Governorship candidate added that similar attacks had also occurred in various local government areas since he started his quest of the 245 wards in the state in October 2022.

Adediran lamented the injuries inflicted on his followers, including journalists.

According to Adeniran, his campaign had experienced constant attacks at Badagry and Agege and some other places too.

He further pronounced that the circumstances would not discourage him from rescuing the state from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

“resolve to relieve residents of the state of their numerous pains and to bring in breath of fresh air is unstoppable” He vowed.
