The Ooni of ife- Anyone That Says There’s No God Is Fool

On Saturday, at the ground finale of New Year program organised by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) at Afewonro Park, Enuwa Square, Ile-Ife, the monarch of Ile Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi acknowledged the existence of God and appreciate Jesus Christ as Lord over his life.

The Ooni, in his statement declared that Jesus Christ has been with him in time of tribulation, while he said anyone who does not believe in the existence of God is a fool.

“I sat down here last year with a lot of tribulations and storms of life which I cannot explain, but to God be the Glory that my shame has turned to celebration.

“I observed where I started, hitherto, the Lord has helped me. It is clearly stated to me that the Lord is Alive. A fool is anyone that says there’s no God,” Ooni of Ife said.

Excel reported that the Ooni Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi led the occasion with songs and praises as the king declared Jesus Christ has his Lord and saviour.

It was also gather that the Ooni encouraged Christians to also extol the Lord Jesus Christ and appreciate Him.

“When I look back, I observe that my life is full of God’s wonders and miracles despite all challenges faced, but today, the Lord gave me victory over them all.

According to NAN, the traditional rule urge Christians to hold Jesus Christ, as there has not been a record of anyone who worked with God and failed.

“Truly, He is the son of God and He is the one that lives with him on the throne.”
