Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate for the African Action Congress, has criticized his counterpart, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for allegedly falling asleep during a meeting of presidential candidates and party leaders with the National Peace Committee in Abuja on Friday.
Sowore took to his verified Twitter handle, claiming Tinubu did not only sleep off through the meeting, but he couldn’t also talk as the APC national chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, spoke on his behalf.
The meeting was under the chairmanship of a former Head of State and co-chairman of NPC, General Abdulsalami Abubakar (rtd).
The activist turned AAC presidential candidate wrote: “We just returned from a meeting of party leaders/Presidential candidates with the national peace committee in Abuja, the Presidential candidate of The @OfficialAPCNg @officialABAT slept through the meeting, he didn’t say a word. His party chair spoke on his behalf.”
