Sanwo-Olu Appoints Wasiu Ayinde’s Daughter as SSA
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has named Basirat Damilola Marshall, daughter of renowned Fuji musician, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, popularly known as KWAM1, as his Senior Special Assistant on Tourism.
The announcement was made evident through a viral video capturing her father’s gratitude towards the governor, along with congratulatory messages observed on her Instagram page, @damimarshall_.
In the viral video, KWAM1 expressed his appreciation to Governor Sanwo-Olu during a performance at the coronation and birthday reception of Oba Sikirullah Apena, acknowledging the appointment of his daughter, Damilola, into the governor’s cabinet.
He revealed that it was Damilola herself who prompted him to publicly acknowledge the governor for her appointment.
Prior to her appointment, Damilola served as a principal partner at the law firm, Damilola Ayinde Marshal and Co.
