Reactions As Ooni,Soyinka , Ask Nigerians To Defend Land Against Ruga

The Nigerian space has witnessed a new surge of debate after the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi Adeyeye and Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka called on Nigerians to stand against the attempt for another internal colonization with the introduction of Ruga.

The duo condemned the move by the federal government.

This has stired another debate with many Nigerians also joining in the condemnation while others berated the two Prominent figures for starting a “war song”.

There has been a public outcry against the Ruga settlement by many stakeholders including governors of the Southern States who have condemned the move .
