The Executive Secretary of Petroleum Products Regulatory Agency, (PPPRA), Abdulkadir Saidu has assured Nigerians of the availability of the Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) populary known as fuel throughout the festive season.
Mr Saidu gave this assurance in Abuja when he was addressing marketers against engaging in acts that could lead to hike in the prices of petrol during the festive period.
While addressing the marketers, he pointed out that the average petrol inland stock between 23rd and 29th November 2019 stood at 1,145,365,386 litres and that of marine stock stood at 1,542,779,814 litres adding that the Inland days sufficiency is 20 days while marine is 27days.
However, Mr Saidu said that PPPRA wishes to warm marketers to operate in accordance to the rules that guide downstream operations as Federal Government has no intention of increasing the price of petrol.
