Portable Questions Justice Disparity in Nigeria
Controversial musician, Portable, has voiced his frustration, suggesting that justice in Nigeria is predominantly pursued for the deceased.
His comments come amidst his hospitalization following an assault he allegedly suffered for failing to perform at a scheduled event.
Portable, who took to social media earlier in the week to decry the assault purportedly orchestrated by American-based singer Esquare and his associates, reiterated his stance from his hospital bed.
Posting images and videos on Instagram, he questioned the disparity in seeking justice, emphasizing that he feels abandoned in his current predicament.
Speaking in pidgin English, Portable expressed his pain and lamented the lack of support, asserting his reliance on divine intervention.
He challenged the notion that justice is only served posthumously, citing his own ordeal as evidence of neglect within the system.
“Feeling so much pain right now, just your prayer I don’t want to die young,” Portable expressed.
“Nobody fights for me but I get GOD. Truth only always on my right. If God is GOD I will not fall Zazuu. Didn’t get myself since I was beaten by those guys, from one pain to another. Nah only d dead una dey find justice for? Evidence dey but no one do as if dey see it.”
