Police Arrest Man in Connection with Tupac’s Murder
Las Vegas police have arrested a man, Duane’ Keege D’ Davis, concerning the 1996 murder of rapper Tupac Shakur.
Shakur was killed in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas.
The rapper and Death Row Records co-founder Suge Knight was on their way to a nightclub when an unidentified gunman fired 14 shots, hitting Shakur four times, ultimately leading to his death days later.
According to the Associated Press, the police arrested Duane Friday morning. Charges are yet to be revealed.
Duane’s arrest comes two months after the Las Vegas police searched his home as “part of the ongoing Tupac Shakur homicide investigation,” NBC reported.
Police reportedly found some items, including a Pokeball USB drive, a black iPhone, two iPads, and a purple Toshiba laptop.
