Towards the preparation for the Christmas and New year festival, the Osun state Amotekun Command has put in place steps to make sure the celebration goes off without a obstruction or casualty.
In a statement by the field commander of the Osun state Amotekun, Comrade Amitolu Shittu on Friday guaranteed

He included that intelligence operatives of the corp are have been in constant action as they are working with sources around to curtail any intending threat.
In a press statement made available by the spokesperson of the corps, Yusuf Idowu, stated that 120 operatives will be deployed for patrol during the Christmas celebrations with the field commander leading the troop.
“We are also embarking on high visibility vehicular and motorcycle patrols of all the nooks and crannies of the State to deter would-be criminal elements and to checkmate any criminals that can come to the state in all 22 boundaries that lead to the state“. Amitolu said.
He indulged indigenes and residents of Osun state to be careful and watchful of their immediate environment, and encourages that people should report any suspicious persons or moves to security agencies, and keep valuables from being exposed too much.
