Osun: NURTW Protest In Reaction To Tribunal’s Verdict
Early this morning, around 6-7am, information reached has reported that some men of the Osun State NURTW started protecting, reacting to the recent judgments by the State Tribunal On Governor Ademola Adeleke removal in office and declaring former governor Oyetola as winner of the recent gubernatorial election in the state of Osun.
Commercial Buses both who operate inter- state and within are being stopped by few men who insisted that the drivers should stop working while passengers were instructed to trek.
The demonstration started around Okefia Axis, and moved to Ogo Oluwa, Osogbo.
A witnesses who spoke with excelbreakingnews, with the name Akin, whose travelling to Ife was forfeited illustrated the incident.
“The bus are not allowed to move, even some okada riders were working strategically, many drivers were stopped by these men with stick in their hands, and passengers were told to highlight from the bus”
After the Judgment yesterday, many people for fear of violence couldn’t continue with their daily activities, as few businesses owners or traders locked up their shops and left for their various homes.
Excelbreakingnews had early reported how violence erupted in some area within the state in the late hour.
