The President of the Nigerian Economic Society (NES) has criticized the President Buhari’s administration over its handling of the country’s economy.
Prof. Sarah Anyanwu, President of the NES, stated this during a visit with her members to the Senate Minority Caucus. She further expresses grief over the exclusion of economists from the National Economic Management Team (NEMT) in present administration which is why the economy is nose-diving.
In part of her words, “However, the exclusion of economists from the National Economic Management Team under the present administration has glaring shown in the adverse effects on the economy, which those who can read the indices and indicators correctly, can see is nose-diving.”
