Nigerian Military Rescues Another Chibok Girl

Another Chibok girl, Mary Nkeki, has been successfully rescued by the valiant troops of Operation Hadin Kai Theater Command.

This remarkable rescue operation, as learnt by Excel Magazine International took place on August 14, when Mary and her husband, identified as Adam, who had repented from insurgent activities, were liberated by the courageous soldiers of the 81 Task Force Battalion during a mission within the terrorists’ stronghold in Dikwa.

Maj. Gen. Gold Chibuisi, the Theater Commander of Operation Hadin Kai, shared this heartening news during a press briefing on Monday, August 21.

He revealed that Mary Nkeki is listed as the 55th abducted Chibok girl and is currently 27 years old. She is Kibaku by tribe.

During her harrowing time in captivity, Mary was forcibly married to a Boko Haram terrorist named Adam.

Maj. Gen. Chibuisi personally handed her over to the officials of the Borno State Government after addressing the media.

The general also confirmed that Mary received thorough medical evaluation at one of theur medical facilities, and her physical well-being has been diligently restored.

Mary bravely shared her story with journalists after her handover to the Borno State Ministry for Women Affairs officials.

She revealed that she had given birth to two daughters during her time with Adam, both of whom, sadly, did not survive.

Mary and her husband, Adam, both decided to abandon insurgency and fled the terrorists’ stronghold in the Dikwa region.
