FG Set To Launch N75billion Survival Fund

The Federal Government of Nigeria set to launch an online portal for Nigerians to register and access the 75 billion Naira survival fund for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

The Minister of state for industry, trade and investment, Mariam Katagum explained that the aim of the programme is to tackle the economic challenges faced by small and medium businesses due to COVID-19 Pandemic.

In a statement by the Project Delivery Officer, “Nigerians interested in the Payroll Support scheme are to note that the site for registration will open from 10pm on 21st September, 2020.

The Project Delivery Office further explained the registration schedule, which is aimed at ensuring seamless registration. Educational institutions will on Monday, 21st September, 2020 from 10pm begin registration for Payroll Support while businesses in hospitality industry will begin from 12A.M. Other categories of small businesses will start their registration on the 28th September, 2020 from 12A.M.
