Nigeria Government Approves N27tn 2024 Budget
The Federal Executive Council approved the 2024 appropriation bill, setting it at N27.5tn, as disclosed by Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Abubakar Bagudu, after the Monday meeting.
This marks an increase from the initially considered N26.01tn.
Bagudu stated that further budget details would be unveiled when President Bola Tinubu presents it to the National Assembly next week.
The Minister highlighted that the revised MTEF, already passed by the National Assembly, features an exchange rate of N750 to a dollar and a crude oil benchmark of $77, aiming to boost revenue to N18tn.
