Nigeria Cinema Sales Rise by N819 Million in January

The Cinema Exhibitors Association of Nigeria has announced that it recorded a total of N819 million in sales in January 2023 across cinemas in the country.
This was disclosed on Monday by the National Chairman of CEAN, Mr Ope Ajayi, stating that the month was a successful one with 324,408 total admissions to the cinemas.
The top five films for the month were Battle on Buka Street, Ijakumo, Avatar, Black Panther, and Plane.
Mr Ajayi also noted that the association is optimistic that February will be an even better month, with the release of thrilling and action-packed films.
He recommended that cinema lovers should watch out for movies such as Titanic remastered, Antman vs Wasp quantumania, Cocaine bear, Luther, Die Hart, and Love in a pandemic in February.
