Mohbad’s Sister-in-law Alleges Puzzling Encounter 72 Hours Prior to Death
Karimot, the sister-in-law of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has voiced fresh concerns about the circumstances surrounding his demise.
In a video shared on her Instagram handle, Karimot claimed that Mohbad had a meeting with individuals connected to the Ikorodu show just 72 hours before his death at a local bar.
She emphasized that this meeting occurred prior to Mohbad’s performance in Ikorodu and urged Nigerians to scrutinize videos from the show, asserting that his seemingly unstable behavior was not a result of substance influence.
Karimot questioned the silence surrounding the individuals Mohbad encountered before his death and expressed dissatisfaction with the hasty burial, alleging that money was donated for the purpose.
In her statement, Karimot said, “I will not remain silent on why Mohbad was hurriedly buried. You are trying to silence me. 72 hours before his death, Mohbad went to a bar with the same person who hosted the Ikorodu show. Did that person reach out to Mohbad’s widow? Nigerians should revisit Mohbad’s onstage behavior; he was not under the influence of drugs.”
Expressing Mohbad’s initial reluctance towards the show, she called on mothers to advocate for justice, insisting on the need for scrutiny into the people he associated with before his demise. Karimot concluded with a bold assertion, “Mohbad’s death is profound, but I believe he will fight back.”
