Military Rule Is An Aberration, Has No Place In Africa-Atiku
The President Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar has said that the Military has no place in governance .
He said this in reaction to the attempted seizure of power in Gabon by Military forces.
In a tweet , the former Vice President condemned the action and termed it am aberration
“The attempted coup in Gabon stands condemned. Military rule is an aberration and has no place in Africa. The African Union, in line with its rules, should stand firm on its zero tolerance for forceful alteration of government on the continent. -AA” he tweeted.
The attempted coup has received wide spread condemnation from various personalities including the African Union and other world bodies.
