LEKKI SHOOTING: Buhari sues for peace as Enquiry commences

 

Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari has urged Nigerians to remain peaceful and shun all hatred and violence as an independent judicial panel of enquiry is being set up to look into the Lekki shooting and other cases of police violence.

The judicial panel, which is to begin it’s sitting on Monday, is to investigate all cases of killings and police abuses in The commercial hub of the country, Lagos.

Lagos State was The first of the country’s 36 states to set up a judicial panel to look into the cases.

The investigative panel was one of the demands of #EndSars protesters who demanded that all police officers involved in abuse , face the wrath of the law.
