Napoli sporting Chief, Cristiano Giuntoli has cleared the air amid concerns over the future of defender, kalidou koulibaly, maintaining that the Defender will remain with the Club.
The Senegalese international has been subject to a lot of rumours and links in the cause of the transfer window, With Man city the forerunners to capture him, but that seems to have quieted down with the Napoli Chief stating clearly that the club intends to keep him.
The rumours linking him with a move to City seem to have faded off with City switching their attention to Benfica centre-back Ruben Dias.
Speaking With sky in Italy, he said ” I think koulibaly is staying. We are very happy, and so is he. He has three years on his current deal. So, I believe he is staying”.
