Kogi: Emir of Daura Applauds Bello’s Ruthless Fight Against Criminalities

The Emir of Daura, His Royal Majesty, Alhaji Umar Faruq, has described the Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello, as a true lover of Daura people and worthy son of his palace.

ExcelBreakingNews reports that the emir said this while receiving Governor Bello, who paid him Sallah homage at his palace.

He said, “Coming to Daura with your senior government officials to pay Sallah homage to the President reveals a lot about your love for him and us in Daura. Only a sincere lover pays a visit, not an enemy. You, on the other hand, are our true lover.”

Commending Bello for his unfailing support for Mr President, Alhaji Faruq described him as an ardent supporter and lover of President Muhammadu Buhari.

He added, “Governor Yahaya Bello is a son of this palace and our son’s and President’s ardent and unfailingly loyal supporter. This palace is your home and my doors are open to you at all times.”

Appreciating the sterling quality of Governor Bello, especially in the fight against criminals, the royal father applauded him for his ruthlessness and dedication to the elimination of crooks and criminal elements in Kogi State.

He enthused, “I must applaud your ruthlessness and dedication to eliminating crooks and criminalities in Kogi. We all know the state of insecurity in Kogi before you assumed office and what it is today, continue to sustain the fight against criminals in your state. In fighting crimes of all forms, you have established a high standard for all leaders at the state level to follow. You have always been close to us for fatherly blessings that will always be with you and as parents, we will continue to pray for you and bless you in preparation for God’s bigger plans for this country, hopefully through you.”

Commending the governor for his youth and women inclusion in governance, Alhaji Faruq said that age was only a number if it was not accompanied by capacity; addi g that the governor and members of his cabinet, who are mostly youths, have demonstrated unparalleled capacity.

He said, “In most people, age is only a number if it is not accompanied by capacity. What many young people like you and those I see in your administration are capable of is unparalleled. It’s all about ability, not age. Capacity, not age, is what counts and benefits others.”

Earlier, Governor Bello said he was in Daura to pay Sallah homage to the President, noting that the trip would have been inconclusive without extending it to the palace of His Royal Majesty, who he described as a worthy Royal Father, and to also thank him for his wise counsel over the years.
