King Charles III’s Coronation to Include Representatives from Multiple Faiths, Female Bishops for the First Time

King Charles III is set to be crowned in a ceremony that will for the first time feature representatives from faiths other than the Church of England, as he seeks to promote unity across the United Kingdom.
The Archbishop of Canterbury’s office has announced that leaders from the Buddhist, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, and Sikh communities will participate in various aspects of the coronation ceremony.
The service, which is described as an act of Christian worship, will reflect contemporary society and include female bishops for the first time, as well as hymns and prayers in Welsh, Scottish Gaelic, Irish Gaelic, and English.
