About KDE Disability Africa Foundation – Liberia

KDE Disability Africa Foundation – Liberia is a non-profit / non-governmental organization (NGO) registered in Liberia since 2017. Our purpose is to improve the lives of people with disabilities and disenfranchised girls and youth in Africa and the US. We do this by providing vocational training, empowerment workshops, clothing, and food, and advocating for disability inclusion.

KDE Disability Africa Foundation – Liberia is focusing on a long-neglected segment of society – women with physical disabilities living below poverty levels – through our Vocational Training program and empowerment workshops. Women with physical disabilities are among the most vulnerable and many lack practical skills to start their own business (entrepreneurship) or get a job (employment). Vocational training will lead them to be productive members of society while gaining practical skills.
