JAMB, Tertiary Institutions Approve 160 As Cut-Off Mark For 2019 Admission

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has approved 160 as minimum score to get admitted into public universities in Nigeria for the 2019/2020 academic calendar.


The decision was arrived at on Tuesday during the 19th policy meeting on admissions to tertiary institutions in Nigeria at Bola Babalakin auditorium, Gbongan, Osun state.

The meeting had in attendance, Vice Chancellors, Rectors of Polytechnics and provost of colleges of education. There was also an approval passed for  140 for private universities, while 120 was approved for public polytechnic and 110 for private polytechnic. Also, 100 and above was approved for colleges of education.
