Ivory Coast: Alassane Quattara Emerges Winner of the Presidential Election

 

Alassane Quattara has been re-elected for the third term as the Ivory Coast President.

Quattara scored 94.27% of the votes in the first round according to the Independent Electoral Commission on Monday night.

The election in the Country was Marred by violence before and after the election on Saturday.

It would be recalled that Opposition has asked the people to boycott the election because Alassane Quattara quest for third term was unconstitutional.
