A beautiful and successful actress, Ini Edo has earned herself a place in the Nigerian history books, with over a hundred movies since her debut. In 2013, she was a judge for Miss Black Africa UK pageant. In 2014, she was appointed by the United Nations as a UN Habitat Youth envoy.
She has also gone on to win several awards in celebration of her excellence. At the Best of Nollywood awards in 2009, she won Best actress leading role (Yoruba), in 2011, she won Zulu African Film academy Awards for best indigenous actress among other awards.
