In an electrifying performance at UFC 287, Israel Adesanya has regained his UFC middleweight title from Alex Pereira.
The highly anticipated main event, which took place at the FTX Arena in Miami, Florida Sunday morning, saw Adesanya emerge victorious with a stunning knockout.
Pereira started off strong, unleashing a barrage of body hooks and a knee to the ribs, with Adesanya backed against the cage.
However, Adesanya remained composed and threw a powerful right hook out of nowhere, catching Pereira off guard and freezing him in his tracks. The next punch dropped Pereira to the ground, rendering him unconscious.
Adesanya’s celebration was equally impressive, as he imitated firing arrows at his defeated opponent.
This victory marks Adesanya’s first win against Pereira in their four-fight history.
The two fighters had previously met three times before, with Pereira claiming controversial wins in their kickboxing matches and a victory in their first MMA clash.
However, Adesanya’s determination and skill finally paid off as he reclaimed his middleweight title in spectacular fashion.
