Imo 2019: Massive Boost for Anumudu Campaign as Mbieri Stakeholders endorse Candidacy
It was a great gathering at Mbieri Imo state on Saturday, 5th of January , as major stakeholders including community heads, Traditional rulers , President Generals of various Associations endorsed the candidature of Barrister Humphrey Anumudu to be the next governor of the state.
Different personalities at the gathering extolled the virtues of Barrister Humphrey and his running mate , with encomiums pouring in for the unique personality and character of the Zenith Labour Party candidate.
Speaking at the Town Hall meeting , Barrister Humphrey charged the indigenes and eligible voters of the Mbieri to see the project of his ambition as theirs .
The Zenith Labour Party candidate who hails from Mbieri in Imo state expressed disappointment at lack of any government visible project in the community
“I am disappointed at what I am seeing in this area, for instance , see your roads, see the way the community has been left unattended to, if I emerge , development of Mbieri is ours to project and by God’s grace when I get to Douglas house, I will not just develop Mbieri but will make it the envy of all ” he noted.
Barrister Humphrey also promised to transform Imo state if elected while emphasizing that the need for progressive leadership in the state.
Speaking in the same vein, the running mate to Barrister Humphrey, Hon Dike , a former House of Assembly deputy speaker, said he opted to vie alongside Barrister Humphrey because of his personality. He noted that every concerned Imo state indigene and Resident must ensure that Barrister Humphrey who has successful businesses around the Country brings his wealth of experience into managing the state.
The event was capped with prayers and words of support from traditional kings including top sons of Mbieri who witnessed the endorsement program.
One of the largest local governments in Imo state, Mbatioli is expected to endorse the legal luminary and successful businessman, Barrister Humphrey alongside his deputy on Tuesday, January 8 at Mbatioli Local government .
Barrister Humphrey is projected to win the election as he has been touted based on pedigree and achievements including philanthropy.
