….Imo state government is yet to react to allegation

Former governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha has accused the incumbent governor of Imo state, Hope Uzodinma of hatred ithout a reason.

He said this during an interview with Channels Tv on the current insecurity bedeviling the country.
Speaking on the situation between him and Uzodinma, he said.

“Governor Hope Uzodinma hates me with passion, he just hates me, I don’t know the reason and he has been fighting me but never a day have I fought him and I made a point that I will never fight back. He just has some envy and he does not seem to be changing, not relenting. As I speak to you now, my driver and my security men have been arrested for the past five days and kept in a police station, they are trying to find out if they are IPOB or Boko Haram” Okorocha said.

He also said he is trying to be a father and he is not fighting him (Uzodinma)
“Last time he ordered for my arrest and I was arrested but I have gone through so much in Nigeria, if you recall that I was same person that won election, my certificate was seized. Last time I was arrested, my properties were burnt and destroyed everywhere in Imo state and I just don’t know but I love peace and time will tell. At a point I felt he had people encouraging him”.
Okorocha also noted that he would have offered some advice to Uzodinma, if he had invited him
“Do not forget that Imo state was number one state in Kidnapping and how we ended it was through community government where we involved traditional rulers in government, we also had youth must work and we engaged 25,000 youths. I also communicate with youths. Governance is not what you puff yourself up” Okorocha said.
Okorocha also accused the Imo state government of witch-hunting him and his family members.

“ I was attacked by hoodlums headed by the Special Adviser to governor Hope Uzodinma on political affairs, there were gunshots, if not for a Hausa man, who told me ‘oga’ in Hausa and asked me to enter the car before they would kill me. The idea was to assassinate me at that point” he alleged
The Imo state government led by governor Hope Uzodinma is yet to react to this development as at the time of this report.
