Houston Wins ORA Convention 2020 Hosting Rights

The Orlu regional Assembly has announced that Houston would host the 2020 edition of its annual convention.
This was communicated at the ORA USA 2019 convention held at Airport Gateway Marriott Hotels & Resorts 1743 West Nursery Road Linthicum, Maryland.
The event whose 2019 edition was successfully held with affiliate Washington D.C had guest from all walks of life.
The ceremony to decide the new hosts was conducted by ORA national president Chief Tony Opkara (Ebube Dike) who performed the yearly hosting ritual and hand over of hosting flag for next year ORA Convention from Washington DC President Chief Okey Oboh to the Hosting counterpart(Houston) Mazi Chris Alaekwe among the Houston Texas ORA members who witnessed the event are ORA Board Chairman & Nze Bon Ikwuagwu.
Commending the host of the 2019 event, Chief Alaekwe, the Houston Affiliate president, who received the flag with a donation of $150 dollars promised to ensure that the standard which has been set this year will be improved upon.
The event also saw the election of the President and other Executives of the ORA USA for another two years, some of the executives include ;

Gen Secretary-Dr Pauly Enwere ;
Assistant Gen Secretary- Mr Austin Ofoha;
Financial Secretary- Sir Ugochukwu Ugwurumbaike Duru;
Asst Financial Sec. -Dr Chinyere Achi and
Treasurer- Mr Emmanuel Orji .

Parliamentarian- Mr Chris Okala,
Legal head- Atty Ben Nwaiwu.
