Hon Ihedioha Meets Imo Indigenes in USA, Promises To Transform Imo

It was a great gathering in Maryland, United States as Imo people in Maryland, Washington DC and Virginia gathered at the home of Dr. Jude and Dr. Mrs Joy Onyegbado to host the governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party of Imo State, Nigeria.

The event which attracted many sons and daughters of Imo state, hosted officials from the US government including Senator Paul Pinsky, Senator Douglas Peters, Senator Malcolm Augustine, States Attorney Aisha Braveboy, States Delegate Alonzo from the State of Maryland and the Governor of Maryland represented by Mr. Craft.

The Governor who was also represented by Mr. Craft welcomed Rt Hon Ihedioha with an assurance of collaborating with Imo State when Ihedioha is sworn in as the Governor in 2019. “We will collaborate with the government of Imo state when your emerge the winner of the 2019 elections ” the Governor noted.

It was also an avenue for the leading candidate to rub minds with Imo state indigenes on how the state will be developed with various ideas aggregated after the meeting.

Ihedioha promised to involve all capable hands home and in diaspora with emphasis on private sector participation to improve on all sectors of Imo in order to liberate and rebuild Imo State.

“I will not disappoint you when elected the governor of the state. I have the required pedigree and this you all can count on in my efforts to ensure that the state is well ran upon my emergence.” he noted.

Various stakeholders at the event commended the efforts of the People’s Democratic Party flagbearer while pledging support to his candidacy.

The Imo state elections is scheduled to hold in 2019, with Hon Emeka Ihedioha as a leading candidate pitched to win the much coveted governorship election.
