Nigerian chef, Hilda Effiong Bassey, widely known as Hilda Baci, has achieved a remarkable milestone by surpassing the current Guinness World Record holder for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.
As a testament to her accomplishment, Hilda Baci’s official Instagram account has now been verified with the coveted blue tick.
A glance at her Instagram page on Monday revealed her newly verified status.
With her exceptional achievement, she is on track to break the Guinness World Record for the “longest cooking marathon by an individual,” having surpassed the impressive mark of 87 hours and 50 minutes.
The talented restaurateur commenced her ambitious endeavor on Thursday at 4 pm, igniting her cooker and dedicating herself to surpassing the current world record holder, which finally, on Monday morning, she triumphed over the previous record.
Should her accomplishment be officially recognized by the Guinness World Record organization, Hilda Baci will displace the current title holder, Lata Tondon, an Indian chef who achieved an uninterrupted cooking marathon of 87 hours and 45 minutes in 2019.
