Unknown gunmen attack a school in Cameroon, leaving behind a bloody trail as school children were killed.
According to reports, gunmen attacked a private school in a tension-laden area of Cameroon killing 6 children and leaving dozens injured. Local education officials stated that the children were between the ages of 12 and 14.
Groups In the south-western city of Kumba have blamed anglophone secessionists for the attacks, though this is yet to be independently verified.
These attacks have been ongoing since 2016 and have gripped parts of Cameroon as anglophone groups have stepped up push for independence.
