Gov. Uzodinma Begins Okigwe-Owerri, Owerri-Orlu Roads Reconstruction

The Governor of Imo State Nigeria, Senator Hope Uzodinma on Monday 30th November 2020, inaugurated the Okigwe-Owerri Road and Owerri- Orlu Road.

The construction is estimated at N55bn, and these roads will help boost the economy of the State.

In his address, the Governor said that the projects will be handled by Craneburg Construction Company and it is expected to be finished in 18 months.

“These roads will be delivered in good time. They will work day and night to give us exactly what we want”, Uzodinma explained.

The Imo State governor further stated that these roads are very vital to the people and the contractors we give the people a strong and quality road.

While speaking, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly Paul Emeziem, maintained that the construction of these roads will help travelers both within and outside the state.
