Funke Akindele, a well-known Nollywood actress and movie producer, has recently expressed her admiration for the controversial Street Pop singer, Habeeb Okikioka, also known as Portable.
In a recent social media post, Funke described Portable as a genuine artiste, demonstrating her appreciation for his talent.
Funke shared a video of Portable’s performance of his hit song “Apostle” on her official Instagram page.
In the now-viral video, the actress could be heard in the background saying: “Just be real, that is it, he is real.”
The video has received mixed reactions, with some using the opportunity to make snide remarks about Funke’s recent loss at the Lagos State gubernatorial poll.
Despite the negative comments, several people have also come to Portable’s defence, citing his talent and the recognition he has received from others, such as Daddy Freeze, a well-known Nigerian radio personality.
Funke Akindele’s recent loss at the Lagos State gubernatorial election has sparked a great deal of attention, with some suggesting that her comment about Portable may have been impacted by her defeat.
However, regardless of the outcome of the election, Funke’s appreciation for Portable’s music remains unchanged.
