Four Killed, Many Injured in US Bar Shooting

In a tragic incident at a biker bar located in southern California, the United States, no fewer than four individuals lost their lives, while an additional six suffered injuries due to a shooting incident.

According to information at Excel Magazine International disposal, the assailant was among the four casualties in the shooting that occurred at Cook’s Corner in Orange County.

Brian Fennessy, the County Fire Chief, disclosed that two of the six injured individuals are currently in critical condition.

This distressing event unfolded at 19:00 local time (02:00 GMT) while the bar was hosting an $8 (£6.30) spaghetti night and a live rock music show, both of which had been promoted on the bar’s Facebook page.

Initial information suggests that the incident may have originated as a domestic dispute involving the gunman, who is reported to be a retired law enforcement officer, and his spouse.

The authorities have confirmed the recovery of at least one weapon from the crime scene.

Expressing her sorrow, Orange County Supervisor Katrina Foley posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, that she was “heartbroken to hear of another senseless mass shooting, this time in our own backyard.”

Senator Dave Min, representing Orange County, conveyed his devastation upon learning of the news and remarked, “Our district is known for its safety, yet we continue to grapple with the scourge of mass shootings.”

Cook’s Corner stands as a well-visited establishment for bikers traversing the foothills of the Santa Ana Mountains.
