Excel Magazine Appoints Mercy Oby Ejikemeh as Representative for Baltimore, Maryland

Excel Global Media Group Inc. is thrilled to announce the appointment of Mercy Oby Olunma Ejikemeh as their official representative for Baltimore, Maryland.

In this role, Mrs Ejikemeh will play a pivotal role in coordinating bookings for events and spearheading business development initiatives for Excel Magazine and the broader services of Excel Global Media Group Inc.

Mercy Oby Olunma Ejikemeh, born as the 8th child of 10 children to Late Chief Donatus and Late Lolo Mrs. Florence Anaele from Inyishi town in Ikeduru LGA of Imo State, brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her new role.

Her journey to the United States through the American Visa Lottery in April 1998 was a rare and priceless opportunity that marked the beginning of an inspiring story.

In December 2002, Mrs Ejikemeh tied the knot with Chief/Sir Philip Chudi Ejikemeh of Amiyi Umuakah, in Njaba LGA of Imo State, and together, they are blessed with two children, Chimkenyerem and Nnaemeziem Chudi-Ejikemeh.

Mrs Ejikemeh’s professional journey is marked by dedication and achievement.

She is a full-time licensed Transplant Nephrology Nurse Practitioner with the United States Federal Government, having served in various capacities as a nurse, educator, and provider.

Her educational background includes a Nurse Practitioner board certification from 2019 to the present, an MSN from York College of Pennsylvania (2016-2019), a post-graduate certificate in Nursing Education from the University of Maryland School of Nursing (2010-2011), an MPH with Magnum Cum Laude honors from A. T. Still University Missouri (2007-2009), and a BSN with Honors from the University of Maryland School of Nursing (2001-2002).

Assistant Nurse Manager: University of Maryland Midtown Campus (2015-2016)

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Mrs Ejikemeh has a strong commitment to community service. She has held leadership positions in various organizations, including Vice President of the Nigerian Igbo Women Catholic organization (2023-present), Woman Leader for Orlu Provisional Union, Baltimore, Maryland (2015-2019), and Assistant Secretary for the Nigerian Igbo Women Catholic organization (2008-2012).

Her dedication has been recognized with awards, including the Academic Excellence Award in 2009 and the Exemplary Community Service Award in Baltimore County in 2018.
