Chief Dr. Mrs. Ebelechukwu Obiano‘’A virtuous woman is to be praised’’ stated in biblical context, such is the story of Chief Dr. Mrs. Ebelechukwu Obiano ‘Osodieme global’ who is an immense figure of love and great virtues. Her Excellency through her giant strides has helped better the lives of less privileged in Anambra state and across the nation.
Chief Mrs. Obiano has worked in so many reputable institutions and corporate organizations, and she had always been involved in charity programmes and helping the less privileged even before becoming first lady of Anambra state.
As wife of the governor, she set up an active NGO, The Caring Family Enhancement Initiative (CAFE) in 2014 and since then has made so much impact in the lives of people.
Through CAFÉ, the first lady has helped a lot of less privileged. CAFÉ housing for indigent widows has seen 10 of the prototype 2-bedroom bungalows built free and handed over to beneficiaries across the 3 senatorial districts of Anambra state.
Also, CAFÉ has trained and empowered over 2,500 indigent widows, women and youths in various skills under CAFÉ skills Acquisition training programme. She has bagged a lot of awards, notably, the EU/UNICEF WASH ambassador among others.
In the light of these achievements and so many more, and even for the personality of her Excellency who represents love, kindness and hospitality.
