Game week 2 of the English premier league served up some drama as Manchester United fell to a shock 3-1 defeat to Crystal Palace. The defeat sees Ole-gunnar Solksjaer’s men condemned to a first defeat in their return to the new season.

Andros Townsend opened the lead for palace in the 7th minute, palace doubled the lead before Donny van de beek pulled one back for the red devils. However, that was not enough to restore parity as Wilfred Zaha netted a second to guide palace to a victory.

In other developments, Leeds recorded their first win of the season after a return to top flight football. They overcame Fulham 4-3, with Heldar Costa netting a brace. Everton won West Brom 5-2, with Dominic calvert-lewin netting a hat-trick and James Rodriguez scoring his first goal for the club.

Arsenal wrapped up the games for today with a 2-1 win over West Ham. Alexander Lacazette and Eddy Nketiah on the score sheet.
