Former Chelsea Striker and Ivory Coast Captain, Didier Drogba has called for peace in Ivory Coast after post-election crisis in the Country.
At least 85 people are believed to have died after the re-election of President Alassane Quatarra who is serving for the third term.
“On this day of the celebration of peace in our dear country, I join in all the steps and wishes in this direction. My Compatriots in general and the youth in particular to whom I address myself regularly, fundamental pillar of our companies are at the heart of the matter”, Drogba explained in his twitter page.
The 42 year old expressed his condolences to those who lost their loved ones during the post-election crisis.
