Celebrating Onwuzurike’s Family Outstanding Woman, Dr Indira Onwuzurike

Dr. Indira Onwuzurike is not just a Doctor but a perfect definition of brilliance in celebrating motherhood, sustaining family love and responsibility.
A former Assistant professor of Pediatrics and Pediatric emergency medicine with Wayne state University College of Medicine and Oakland University William Beaumont college of Medicine, Dr. Indira is a much celebrated health professional.
She bagged a Bachelor of Surgery degree from the University of Nigeria, College of Medicine, Enugu, Nigeria. She acquired an Executive MBA in Healthcare administration from Oakland University.
A very passionate woman, Dr Indira founded a non-governmental organization in honor of her first-born , Ike , who drowned just after High School graduation . She named the foundation (What Ike Would Do).
She earned her Bachelor of Medicine ; Bachelor of Surgery equivalent of medical Doctor Degree from University college of medicine, Enugu, Nigeria.
She told EXCEL MAGAZINE INTERNATIONAL that he choice to be in the Pediatric field was borne out of her love for Children, apart from always wanting to be a Doctor.
She has also not hidden her interest to do more for the society and ensuring her outreaches addresses more societal demands by the day.
She shares the statement “nothing is miserable but what is thought so and contrariwise, every estate is happy if he that bears it be content” this summarises her personality.
On the event of her birthday and many more days after this, she has continued to show why her uniqueness itself is unique.
