BREAKING: Tribunal Removes Adeleke As Governor

On Friday, the Osun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal in Osogbo removed Governor Ademola Adeleke as the elected governor of Osun State

Tribunal also declared that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, should cease the Certificate of Return issued to Adeleke and issue the same to Adegboyega Oyetola.

The Chairman, Justice Tertse Kume, read the majority decision, which said that Oyetola received the majority of the legal votes—314,931—against Adeleke’s 219,666.

The minority ruling is still ongoing.
