BREAKING: Ex-Anambra Gov, Mbadinuju is Dead

Dr Chinwoke Mbadinuju, a former governor of Anambra State, has passed away at the age of 78.
He died on Tuesday at the National Hospital in Abuja after a brief illness, according to a press statement signed by his son, Mr Cheta Mbadinuju, on behalf of the family.
Mbadinuju served as governor between 1999 and 2003 under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party.
Fondly called “Odera,” Mbadinuju was known to have governed Anambra State during a period of political turbulence.
In the statement, the family expressed their heavy hearts but utmost gratitude to God for a life well spent, and asked for prayers for God’s grace and mercy upon the deceased and those left behind to mourn him.
The family will announce funeral arrangements in due course.
