BREAKING: DeSantis Exits US 2024 Presidential Race
Florida Governor, Ron DeSantis has withdrawn from the 2024 US presidential race, making a surprise announcement in a video released on X, Excel Magazine International can report.
After a challenging start to his campaign and low polling in the New Hampshire primary, DeSantis also canceled several planned media appearances earlier in the day.
In the nearly five-minute video seen by Excel Magazine International, DeSantis stated that his campaign had “left it all out on the field” but acknowledged the lack of a clear path to victory.
Expressing a commitment to the Republican party, he endorsed Donald Trump, citing the apparent desire among Republican primary voters to give Trump another chance.
Despite acknowledging past “disagreements” with Trump, DeSantis asserted his superiority over the current incumbent, Joe Biden, and emphasized his commitment to supporting the Republican nominee, as evidenced by a signed pledge.
This move leaves Nikki Haley as the main contender against Trump in the race.
