BREAKING: Clampdown Continues As Security Officials Take-Over DailyTrust Lagos, Kaduna Offices
In what can be seen as continued attack on foremost Nigerian Paper, DailyTrust, Security officials have taken over the organization’s Lagos and Kaduna Offices.
“Security agents have taken over the bureau office of @daily_trust in Lagos in what has so far been a coordinated siege on the news outlet,”a tweet by the organization reads.
“It comes hours after armed soldiers invaded @daily_trust bureau in Maiduguri and its head office in Abuja, seizing computers #siegeondailytrust.”
It was gathered that the Armed Officials also sealed the Kaduna Office of the newspaper
The Kaduna office served as the first headoffice of the newspapers when production began in 1998.
This is coming after earlier shutdown of Abuja and Maiduguri offices of the paper
